Senior Instructional Designer (Technical Training)

Sr. Instructional Designer Developer (Technical Training), 3-12 Months, Hybrid, Wilmington, MA

Our long-term semiconductor client is seeking a Sr. Instructional Designer/eLearning Developer to create technical blended learning (ILT, vILT, and eLearning) related to semiconductor technology. The role requires a consultant with either military (Navy a plus) or semiconductor (radar, medical, or automotive) technical training design and development experience.

In this role, you will work on a variety of training programs and courses interfacing with existing training and other documentation, subject matter experts, and perform research to gather and refine content. You will then perform instructional design and hands-on development to complete training deliverables.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Education or Instructional Technologies a plus or equivalent professional experience.
• Technical degree in electrical engineering or similar area required.
• 10 years’ experience in Instructional Design and Development creating blended learning.
• Must have 3 years’ experience creating technical training related to semiconductors, radar technology, or highly relatable field.
• Military or semiconductor industry experience (5 years) required.
• Must be highly proficient in Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline).
• Must have proficiency or exposure to Camtasia, Vyond, and WellSaid.
• Laptop and necessary licenses will be provided.
• Must have an easy going and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional at working with technical SMEs, driving projects, working independently, and meeting deadlines.
• Background check required for chosen consultant.

Start: Early- to mid-December targeted (client may be flexible for the right candidate).

Duration: 3 months with potential to extend to 12 months.

Hours: 40 hours per week.

Location: Hybrid role working onsite part of the week in Wilmington, MA.

The pay rate for this is $60 to $65 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
