We are seeking a Cleaning Technician / Carpet Cleaning Specialist with at least 3 years of professional carpet cleaning experience to join our team.
Position Overview
This hands-on role combines detailed residential and commercial cleaning with professional carpet cleaning. You will complete maintenance and deep cleaning services, provide specialized carpet care, and help maintain clean, welcoming spaces for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning in residential and commercial environments.
- Complete maintenance cleaning and deep cleaning tasks.
- Provide professional carpet cleaning, including pretreatment, spot treatment, and stain removal.
- Assess carpet conditions and identify areas requiring additional care.
- Select appropriate cleaning products and techniques for different carpet types.
- Safely operate, clean, and maintain carpet cleaning equipment.
- Follow company cleaning standards, checklists, and safety procedures.
- Communicate with management regarding job updates, equipment needs, or client concerns.
- Maintain strong attention to detail while working efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of professional carpet cleaning experience.
- Experience operating carpet cleaning equipment and using appropriate cleaning products.
- Knowledge of carpet care techniques, spot treatment, and stain removal.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
- Phone capable of calling and texting.
- Ability to perform physical cleaning work, including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, and lifting 20–50 lbs.
- Ability to travel between job locations.
Additional residential and commercial cleaning experience is preferred.
Schedule
- Full-time or part-time.
- Monday–Friday.
- Daytime shifts, approximately 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
Some schedule flexibility may be available depending on client needs.
Pay
- Starting pay: Depends on experience.
Employees are paid biweekly via direct deposit and remain clocked in between jobs, so travel time between locations is paid.
Travel
Clarity Cleaning is based in Onalaska and serves La Crosse, Holmen, West Salem, La Crescent, and surrounding Coulee Region communities.
Team members must be able to travel up to 30 minutes one way when necessary.
