Daily responsibilities include conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans, reviewing configurations and security controls, preparing clear reports, and presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders. The role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, supporting incident response activities, and advising clients on best practices and regulatory requirements. The consultant will collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to plan and execute security initiatives, while staying current on emerging threats, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in core cybersecurity and information security principles, including risk management and security frameworks.
- Experience with application security, including secure coding practices, code reviews, and application vulnerability identification.
- Proficiency in network security, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, segmentation, and secure network design.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools, methodologies, and remediation planning.
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear recommendations for diverse audiences.
- Experience supporting or leading security audits, compliance initiatives, or governance programs (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI, HIPAA) is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or Security are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
