- Design, develop, and implement quality tests and statistical process control procedures to achieve manufacturing quality specifications.
- Conduct annual plant quality audits across manufacturing facilities.
- Lead investigations and resolution of customer quality concerns and complaints.
- Serve as a project leader for cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.
- Support new product and process development activities while ensuring APQP requirements are met.
- Perform statistical analyses including capability studies, regression analysis, T-tests, F-tests, and control chart evaluations.
- Facilitate and drive Kepner-Tregoe (K-T) problem-solving methodologies throughout manufacturing operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing and maintaining Control Plans, FMEAs, and Level 3 quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS quality standards and internal quality system requirements.
- Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to provide database support and quality insights to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to improve processes and drive operational excellence.
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 1-2 years of Quality Engineering experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO/TS Quality Standards and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification or equivalent Quality Engineering experience.
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) requirements.
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement projects.
- Experience with Control Plans, FMEAs, and quality documentation systems.
