Quality Engineer - 1st. Shift - St. Joseph DAP

What You Will Do

• Conduct quality assurance analysis to monitor day-to-day production processes and ensure compliance with standards.
• Refine production methods by analyzing operational data and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
• Drive supplier improvements through continuous monitoring of product quality and performance metrics.
• Develop testing and training methods to validate product standards and upskill teams.
• Conduct audits and generate findings reports to recommend corrective and preventative actions.
• Measure success through KPIs such as defect reduction, audit compliance scores, supplier performance ratings, and cycle-time improvements.

• Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards through effective audits.
• Increase efficiency in production processes by implementing refined methods.

What We Look For

• University degree with 1-year minimum experience, or 2-year degree with 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination.
• Data analysis skills with ability to interpret and act on quality metrics.
• Audit and reporting experience in a production or supplier environment.
• Knowledge of quality standards and methods for testing, sampling, and training.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Supplier management experience in manufacturing or production settings.
• Familiarity with QA software tools for tracking and reporting.
