What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Engineering Intern (Summer 2026) position at Clarios?
What You Will Do
- Learn about the manufacturing process.
- Investigate process improvements and downtime reduction.
- Training of shop floor employees on process changes.
How You Will Do It
- Assisting the process engineers with real time troubleshooting and process improvements.
- Developing work instructions and One Point Lessons of process changes.
- Analyzing data of downtime and process inefficiencies.
What We Look For
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university
- Pursuing an undergraduate in Engineering.
- Duration: Summer 2026. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
- Working Arrangements: On-site based at our manufacturing facility in St. Joseph, MO.

Several of our customers, including the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, recognized us for supplier excellence. We opened in 1973 and now employ more than 620 people and operate six days per week.
