Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of nursing services in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to gather vital information regarding health status and medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist DON/ADON in daily duties
- Complete MDS assessments as delegated
- Provide care in home care settings, ensuring comfort and safety for patients.
- Support medical-surgical procedures and assist with coding for medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Engage with patients experiencing behavioral health issues, providing empathetic support.
- Maintain equipment related to Durable Medical Equipment (DME) as needed.
- Document all nursing interventions and patient responses accurately in medical records.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) OR RN
- Proven experience in acute care or home care settings is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment and medical documentation practices.
- Familiarity with specimen collection processing, IV insertion, and coding procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient interaction.
