What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Sales Representative position at Clarion Solar?
We’re looking for motivated, competitive individuals to join our direct-to-consumer solar sales team as Door-to-Door Solar Sales Representatives.
This is a commission-only sales position designed for people who want their earning potential to be directly connected to their individual sales performance. You’ll be responsible for generating your own opportunities through face-to-face outreach, educating homeowners on solar solutions, and helping qualified customers determine whether solar is a fit for their property.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect for new customers through door-to-door outreach
- Speak directly with homeowners and identify potential solar opportunities
- Educate customers on available solar solutions and potential benefits
- Schedule qualified appointments and/or guide customers through the sales process
- Maintain consistent daily prospecting and follow-up activity
- Track your activity, appointments, and sales
- Represent the company professionally in the field
Compensation
- Commission only — no hourly wage or guaranteed salary
- Compensation is based on individual sales performance
- Actual earnings will vary based on each individual’s effort, sales production, experience, territory, and results
- There is no guarantee of income or specific level of earnings
- High-performing representatives may have opportunities to advance into leadership and management positions
