Job Title: LEAD INSTALLER
Reports to: Production Manager
Type of position: Full-time Seasonal (March to November)
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Lead Installer is responsible for the handling, delivery and installation of granite memorial orders for our clients in a timely and safe manner. This role requires communication skills to effectively direct others while working alongside co-workers, clients, and cemetery caretakers in a competent and personable manner. The Lead Installer works closely with the Installer Technician as a unified team to meet or exceed company and client expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Handles and loads memorials and supplies carefully and efficiently onto delivery truck
- Delivers and installs cement foundations and granite memorials as needed
- Fields questions and concerns from clients and cemetery caretakers as needed
- Assists in keeping the delivery truck, tools, and equipment clean and presentable
- Performs additional work as needed such as cleaning & refurbishing memorials, equipment/property maintenance, etc.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- May communicate with client and/or caretaker to discuss installation details
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
- Requires good written and verbal communication
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (CDL not required)
- Able to safely operate truck crane and basic contracting equipment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
