Energy Market Clerk

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Store Clerk to support daily operations at our Energy Market. The Clerk plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting with merchandising tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, and a passion for customer service. 

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Operate POS systems for sales, returns, and exchanges accurately.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment.

• Restock shelves, coolers, and displays as needed.

• Follow all store policies and procedures, including loss prevention.

• Report low stock levels or product issues to the Assistant Manager or Store Manager.

• Support promotional and upselling efforts as directed.

• Participate in daily opening and closing duties.

• Maintain cleanliness in customer and employee areas.

• Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Manager or Store Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1 year of experience in a retail, convenience store, or pro shop environment preferred.

• Friendly and positive attitude with strong customer service skills.

• Ability to learn and operate point-of-sale systems and follow procedures accurately.

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise up to 40 lbs.

• Comfortable with physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and occasional ladder use.

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
