We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations at our Jackson, WI headquarters. This is an active leadership role requiring direct, in-field management to train, coach, and mentor technicians on technical delivery and proper turnover processes. - Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 salary plus bonus
- Manage a team of HVAC service technicians, providing the guidance, training, and support necessary to drive high performance.
- Spend active time in the field with technicians, directly coaching them on technical troubleshooting and proper turnover processes.
- Oversee day-to-day scheduling, dispatching, and service call monitoring to ensure we meet customer expectations and service agreements.
- Provide top-tier technical support to help technicians troubleshoot complex residential HVAC issues efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, equipment, and company resources to optimize field efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Enforce industry regulations, company policies, and strict safety standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Demonstrated success in HVAC service management or a closely related leadership role.
- A willingness to get out of the office and into the field to hands-on train, motivate, and inspire your team.
- Strong customer value-adding techniques to help technicians naturally increase the team's average ticket price.
- Comprehensive knowledge of residential HVAC systems, components, and operations with advanced troubleshooting capabilities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build trust with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work comfortably in unconditioned spaces subject to extreme seasonal temperatures, including sub-zero winters and high-heat summers.
- Ability to safely navigate residential spaces, including entering and working in basements, crawlspaces, attics, and utility closets.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move tools, equipment, or parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods.
