- Compensation: $20-$24 per hour based on experience
- Unclog and clean sewers and drains for customers.
- Locate and diagnose problems, assess the extent of repairs and describe options and associated costs to the customer.
- Provide a description of diagnosed problems to customer in terms that can be understood with options, as possible.
- Assist equipment operators, excavation managers, and skilled tradespeople to ensure excavation projects stay on schedule.
- Prepare, load, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment for transport to various worksites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site by securing tools and equipment daily.
- Participate in on-the-job training to expand your skills in plumbing and excavation.
- 1 years of residential or commercial drain cleaning experience preferred.
- Previous experience with machine operation (excavator, backhoe, or skid steer) is a plus.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required; a Sewer Layer License is preferred..
- A commitment to understanding and adhering to all company safety requirements.
- A self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn the trade and grow within the company.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and kneel for long periods throughout the day.
- The job requires regularly lifting and carrying heavy items, which can weigh up to 75 pounds or more.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. May work in extreme temperatures, including heat, cold, and humidity.
