## Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide direct care to patients under the supervision of medical staff, contributing to their overall comfort and well-being.
## Responsibilities
- Initiate dialysis treatment according to physician orders.
- Obtain and record pre and post treatment vital signs and weight identification.
- Perform vascular access cannulation
- Monitor response to dialysis therapy; evaluate interdialytic problems and support the licensed nurse in providing interventions as directed.
## Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D requirement
- Direct patient care that involves heavy lifting and moving of patients
- May be required to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to train but must become certified within 18 months of hire as a CCHT.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
