Position Summary:
The School Psychologist (LSSP) will provide comprehensive psychological services, including conducting evaluations, developing recommendations, participating in ARD/IEP meetings, and offering direct and indirect support to students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of Texas special education regulations, and the ability to work effectively with educators, families, and administrators.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the National School Psychology Exam (PRAXIS).
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a 1,200-hour supervised internship, including at least 600 hours in a school setting.
- Must hold a valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).
