Clarifi Staffing Solutions is currently partnering with a school to identify a skilled School Psychologist for the current academic year. This on-site position offers the opportunity to work directly within the school setting, providing hands-on assessment and support to students as part of a collaborative team.
We recognize the importance of a supportive school environment in promoting student success. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and evaluation of school-based psychological services aimed at strengthening student well-being. Your work will focus on reducing barriers to learning, addressing factors that contribute to absenteeism, and supporting students in developing the skills needed to function successfully and independently in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and interpret psychological assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families.
- Participate in IEP and 504 meetings and planning discussions.
- Provide data-informed consultation and intervention support.
- Monitor student progress and support intervention effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must hold a master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a closely related field and be eligible for licensure through the Utah State Board of Education (USBE). Applicants should possess, or be able to obtain, a Utah School Psychologist license, which requires completion of an approved preparation program and supervised internship. A strong working knowledge of IDEA, psychoeducational assessment, IEP development, and data-based intervention practices is essential. NASP certification is preferred but not required. Candidates should demonstrate effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills to support students, families, and school teams across educational settings.
