Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time, on-site position at our facility in North Miami Beach, FL. The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders. Daily tasks include administering therapeutic interventions, creating personalized treatment plans, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Additionally, the role involves educating residents, families, and staff to support communication and rehabilitation efforts.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy techniques and approaches
- Strong skills in addressing Speech and Language Disorders
- Expertise in assessing and treating Dysphagia and Communication Disorders
- Ability to design and implement therapy plans for Language Disorders
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities
- State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in Florida
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Experience working in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or nursing facility is a plus
