General Expectations:

· Hire and hold employees accountable to standards.

· Order and stock supplies.

· Manage and keep track of repairs to equipment.

· Operate telephone, cash register, and laundry equipment with care.

· Organize tasks according to customer satisfaction, while handling any customer issues that may arise.

· Provide exceptional customer service.

· Dress, act, and conduct yourself professionally.

· Be willing and physically able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds unassisted when necessary.

· Keep the facility properly cleaned and sanitary.

· Perform general maintenance checks of all laundry equipment.

· Be able to stay on task unattended for extended periods of time.

· Support fellow employees in tasks

Job Requirements:

· Greet customers with a friendly, professional attitude. Treat everyone with respect, even in adverse situations.

· Assist and support customers who come to do their laundry with instructions and answer questions.

· Position will require the following:

· Standing for long periods of time

· Walking around continuously

· Must own reliable vehicle.

· Maintain the security of the entire business while on duty.

· Must enjoy dealing with the public.

· Must be able to handle conflict in a professional and stable manner.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Duties

• Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment for delicate or dry cleaning items
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Ensure all laundry meets quality standards for cleanliness and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines and workspaces
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low
• Follow safety protocols related to handling chemicals and operating machinery
• Support general cleaning duties around the hotel to uphold a pristine environment for guests and staff

Experience

• Previous management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of laundry procedures including dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a lively setting.
