- Promote and maintain positive relations with all contacts, customers and potential customers
- Operates a teller's window to serve the bank's customers by:
- Accepting retail and/or commercial deposits, verifying cash and endorsements and giving customers their receipts.
- Identifying customers and cashing checks, or referring customers to an officer for authorization to cash checks.
- Accepting savings deposits and withdrawals, verifying signatures.
- Providing additional customer services including Cashiers Checks, and Personal Money Orders.
- Demonstrate accuracy in balancing a daily cash drawer.
- Accepting payments for all loans
- Process all teller transactions including cash advances and answer questions pertaining to transactions and products. Verify and post night drop bags and bank-by-mail. Cross-sell other products and services.
- Enhances customer relationships by updating bank products. Possesses an understanding of banks products.
- Processes loose coin, roll and verify coin orders.
- Balance coin counter or ATM as assigned. May roll and crimp money. Reconciles cash and transactions daily within teller balancing guidelines.
- Assist co-workers in solving routine problems (i.e. balancing and posting).
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment and ensure that all negotiable and confidential records are properly secured.
***Must be willing to travel between any of Claremont Savings Bank's locations in Claremont, Charlestown and Springfield Vermont.***
***Must be able to work full time beginning on or before June 18th and through August 20 (or after). Available to start in May full or part-time***
***Half days every other Saturday are required***
Must be available to cover at all of our locations as needed. We do try to consider your travel time.
