What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sanitation Technician- 1st Shift position at Claremont Foods, LLC?
Position Summary: Coordinates with production employees daily to ensure Sanitation protocols, MSS and HACCP systems are followed, executed and documented.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Sanitation Supervisor in leading and directing the activities of the Sanitation Technicians.
- Completes a nightly cleaning check to ensure all areas and equipment are ready to meet pre-operations goals established by QA Manager.
- Remains current on new equipment and sanitation techniques to enhance the overall quality and cleanliness of Claremont Food’s facilities.
- Responsible for knowledge and adherence to Safe Quality Food safety Level 2 compliance standards; as trained upon annually.
- Informs Facility Maintenance Manager of all repair, preventive maintenance, and upkeep issues on all operational equipment through continuous daily inspections.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule: 6AM-6PM
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the ability to frequently lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift or carry 51-100 lbs.
- Must have the ability to frequently push or pull up to 50 lbs. and occasionally push or pull 51-100 lbs.
- Must be able to use an electronic device to input daily communications.
- Must be able to constantly walk and stand for the duration of the work shift.
- Must be able to frequently use fine motor manipulations, grip, squat, kneel, bend, twist, turn, reach outward, and reach above chest.
- Must be able to occasionally crawl and climb as needed.
