JOB SUMMARY:
The Child and Adolescent (C&A) Program Manager is an integral part of the Child and Adolescent Services Program, which provides therapeutic services, community support, case management, psychosocial rehabilitation, community transition planning, youth and parent peer support services to children, adolescents, and young adults with mental health challenges. The C&A Program Manager provides daily support for the staff and persons served; demonstrates strong professional judgement related to the planning and delivery of services; ensures services are available to eligible individuals who express a desire for support services under the C&A Program. Clinical oversight of the Child and Adolescent Program is provided by the Director of Child and Adolescent Services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Attending interagency meetings with schools, juvenile court, or other child servicing agencies in support of C&A Director or during Director’s absence
Facilitating and attending internal child and adolescent clinical team meetings
Developing internal child, adolescent, and young adult programming, services, and events
Supervising C&A community services staff
Ensuring policy and procedure related to C&A and young adult populations are implemented
Managing internal referral process of C&A and EASS (Emerging Adult Support Services) program
Provide in service trainings to C&A treatment team
Maintaining caseload of outpatient clients to include assessments, treatment plans, individual, group, and family therapy
Submitting monthly programmatic report
Other duties/tasks designated by the Director
Working Conditions: Clinic setting Monday-Friday 8:15am-5pm. May require weekend or adjusted hours due to program and community events; Ability to use a computer, telephone, fax, copy and scanning machine.; Completes/passes agency-sponsored defensive driving course, as well as all other agency-required trainings.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in a related area from an accredited college or university and eligibility to be independently licensed. Licensed Master Social Work or Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. At least 2 years of clinical experience, 1 year working with children, adolescents, or young adult population. Basic knowledge of communication and collaboration with internal and external partners Knowledge of mental health care and substance abuse recovery necessary; Proficient with technology, electronic health records, and the following computer applications: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; Possess strong interpersonal skills, lead as a positive team player, enjoy working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and foster relationships with various stakeholders.
