Role Summary:

The Junior Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in optimizing and maintaining Clarapath’s manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring the seamless production of SectionStar™, our advanced electro-mechanical device. This role requires a strong foundation in manufacturing principles, process improvement, and hands-on troubleshooting. Working closely with a cross-disciplinary team of engineers, this individual will support daily production needs while contributing to process optimization, quality control, and workflow improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment and is eager to apply engineering fundamentals to real-world manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Support the manufacturing team in troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements
• Assist in developing and updating manufacturing documentation such as work instructions, process flow diagrams, and assembly procedures
• Collaborate with Design and Process Engineers to transition new products and processes into production
• Help identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency using lean manufacturing principles
• Collect and analyze production data to support process validation and continuous improvement projects
• Work closely with Quality to ensure manufacturing processes meet internal and regulatory requirements
• Support the design, assembly, and validation of manufacturing fixtures and tooling
• Participate in daily production meetings to understand priorities, challenges, and improvement opportunities
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience (internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, automation, or medical devices preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on work
• Basic understanding of manufacturing principles and process control
• Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment
