Store Clerk

Job Summary:

Serves as counter sales person at the FasClampitt store. Supports store manager in all

duties of the store.

Reporting Relationship: FasClampitt Store Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and pull orders for customers.
• Inputs customer orders into computer system and completes receiving report on new stock.
• Numbers and organizes stock.
• Carry customer purchases to vehicles and makes deliveries when necessary.
• Handles telephone customer inquiries and makes out customer orders.
• Re-wraps broken stock and performs inventory counts twice a year.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Great sales personality, ability to interact with customers.
• Professional demeanor.
• Working knowledge of basic office/warehouse equipment such as computer, two-wheel truck, and pallet jack.
• Current and valid driver license with good driving history.
• Good communication skills, oral and written. English speaking.

Physical requirements:

Requires vertically transferring carton stock weighing sixty (60) lbs. from four (4) inches to fifty-eight (58) inches, up to twenty (20) times per hour. Requires horizontal transferring of same a distance of one hundred (100) ft. without mechanical assistance, up to ten (10) times per hour. Requires use of hand tools using force of thirty (30) lbs.

Horizontally transferring stock with mechanical assistance requiring force of forty (40) lbs. a distance of one hundred (100) ft., up to five (5) times per hour.

Physical activity in this position requires: climbing, stooping, kneeing, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.

Working Conditions:

This job is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions, noise, hazards, atmospheric conditions and oils.
