What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cable Repair Technician position at Clair Global?
JOB SUMMARY:
Position with primary responsibility for repairing, testing audio, video, WiFi cables and devices.
Essential Job Functions:
- Terminate connections via soldering.
- Terminate connections via crimp termination.
- Operate cable test equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair company related cables / devices.
- Utilize the company's inventory system.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks appointed by the supervisor.
- Track daily job routings
In addition to the functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, maintain good attendance by working when and where directed, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible, and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help co-workers when possible. The employee is also expected to perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time.

Qualifications:
- Be able to read / translate manufacturing assembly procedures.
- Be able to read measurements
- Be able to maintain a work pace set by the supervisor.
- Be able to work independently once a task has been learned.
- Be able to produce a consistent measure of quality without fault.
- Prompt, consistent, and dependable attendance is a requirement for this position.
- Availability to work overtime on short notice, including weekends, when necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Test cables on proprietary cable tester
- Perform such other duties and functions as required from time to time.
***PLEASE NOTE: This position will be a Thursday-Monday Position with having Tuesday's and Wednesday's off.
