Experienced Casualty Claims Adjuster – Lynbrook, NY
Well-established Third-Party Administrator (TPA) with over 60 years of continuous operation is seeking a skilled and motivated Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our team.
Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience handling casualty claims, with the ability to independently manage a full caseload from inception through resolution. This role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of claims handling practices.
This is an ON-SITE position. A hybrid work schedule can be discussed following successful training and onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
· Investigate, evaluate, and manage casualty claims (including liability and bodily injury)
· Determine liability exposure
· Negotiate settlements within authority limits
· Coordinate / communicate with attorneys and insureds
· Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3-5 years of casualty claims adjusting experience
· Strong knowledge of claims handling procedures and litigation management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
