IT Supervisor

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, proactive IT Supervisor to lead our on-site technical team and manage our day-to-day IT operations. In this role, you will be the backbone of our local infrastructure, ensuring our networks, Windows servers, and endpoints are secure, compliant, and highly available.
This is a primarily in-office position designed for a leader who thrives on direct collaboration, hands-on troubleshooting, and mentoring team members in real time. You will balance technical oversight with people management, ensuring our IT department delivers exceptional service to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- On-Site Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the daily performance of our IT support staff. Manage workflows, assign tasks, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure, Windows servers, and active directory systems.
- Endpoint & Device Compliance: Maintain and monitor endpoint management systems (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Mimecast, WatchGuard, Elpha etc.) to track device compliance, manage deployments, and enforce data security policies.
- Escalated Technical Support: Serve as the final escalation point for complex technical issues, troubleshooting critical hardware, software, and server bottlenecks on-site.
- Asset & Vendor Oversight: Manage the inventory of all hardware, software licenses, and IT assets. Coordinate with external vendors for procurement and specialized technical support.
- System Monitoring & Security: Proactively track system logins, audit access controls, and ensure patch management is fully up to date to protect company data.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in IT systems administration or technical support, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Technical Proficiency: * Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and network infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing device compliance and endpoint security (Microsoft Intune or similar enterprise tools).
- Solid understanding of active directory, network protocols, and access management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent hands-on experience and professional certifications will be highly valued).
- Leadership Style: Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of handling workplace coordination, managing employee performance, and resolving technical conflicts calmly and effectively.
