Key Responsibilities
School Leadership & Operations
- Manage daily student arrival and dismissal routines.
- Maintain a safe, positive school environment.
- Enforce the school student code of conduct.
- Handle student discipline issues fairly.
- Supervise common areas like the cafeteria and playground.
Instructional Support
- Observe teachers and give helpful feedback.
- Use the Tennessee Educator Acceleration Model (TEAM) for evaluations.
- Help analyze student test data to improve learning.
- Support data-driven instruction in K-4 classrooms.
- Participate in student support meetings like IEPs and 504 plans.
Community Engagement
- Communicates clearly with parents and guardians.
- Resolve family concerns with empathy and respect.
- Collaborate closely with the Principal and school staff.
Job Requirements
Licensure & Education
- Valid Tennessee Instructional Leadership License
- Master's degree or higher in Educational Leadership.
Experience & Skills
- Knowledge of Tennessee academic standards for grades K-4.
- Experience with the TEAM evaluation model.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- High level of emotional intelligence and problem-solving skills.
