What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Float position at Claiborne Memorial Medical Center?
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Required to maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse license in Louisiana.
- Required to maintain a current certification in BLS.
- Required to participate in annual Infection Prevention education.
- Required to follow all Employee Health protocols (i.e., annual TB skin test, annual flu vaccine, and annual employee physical (if maintaining insurance benefits), etc.)
- Required to complete annual training including Relias, Ethics, and Sexual Harassment.
- Required to attend all mandatory inservices including departmental meetings.
- Required to have basic computer knowledge.
- Required to have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Required to pass pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens.
