Clackamas County is seeking a highly skilled and motivated HR Business Systems Analyst 1 to support strategic initiatives and enhance HR operations through data-driven insights, system optimization, and process improvement.
This position is part of the HR Information Systems (HRIS) team within the Department of Human Resources. Implementing new application functionalities, system upgrades, supporting HR systems with a focus on Benefits and Leave Administration. Additional duties related to HRIS tickets, reporting, and other team projects.
This position builds project plans; ensures adherence to project schedules; provides business process support to customers and recommends solutions using HR software; leads projects related to new or enhanced business systems; monitors and responds to customer needs related to HR software; works effectively with stakeholders, as well as acts as liaison between HR staff and Technology Services in resolving technical issues.
The HR Business Systems Analyst 1 will work with internal customers and Technology Services staff to translate business and operational requirements into workable HR system solutions. The HR Business Systems Analyst 1 serves as a technical point of contact for the assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts in ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, writing reports, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
