Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire a FAFSA Lab Assistant position. This is a part-time, student, federal work study, non-exempt, and non benefits-eligible position. The Work-Study program at Clackamas Community College is a federal financial aid program that provides CCC students with part-time, temporary employment to offset college expenses.Â

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:.
FAFSA Lab Assistant will work under the direction of the Financial Aid Coordinator to provide guidance to students and public seeking assistance with financial aid paperwork and process in the FAFSA Lab.
Essential Job Functions
Will assist students and public to complete the financial aid application process; this will include a variety of paperwork, online processes, and potential referral sot alternate resources.
Auxiliary Functions
Will assist in keeping the office neat and orderly, and in miscellaneous office projects and event planning as they arise.

- Must have a basic understanding of financial aid and be excited to learn about more in-depth research, process, and procedures pertaining to financial aid.
- Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the College's culture, including integrity, a customer service orientation, cultural competency, trustworthiness, flexibility and a willingness to change.

- MEMBER COPY 4 of the Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty (DD Form 214 or 215) - OR - Letter from the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs indicating a non-service-connected pension.
- Disabled Veterans must also submit a copy of their Veterans' disability preference letter from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Terms of Employment
- All positions at CCC are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college and requires a flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends.
- Those offered employment will be required to complete and sign forms before initiating background check step.
- CCC employees must reside within 50 miles of Oregon City, Harmony or Wilsonville campus as a condition of employment.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States must be provided if selected for hire.
- CCC does not support employment permits or visas.
