CKS Packaging is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor with 5-10 years in a leadership role specifically in Blow Molding and Facility Maintenance, along with strong electrical skills. Responsibilities:Implement/manage facility’s maintenance programs, including preventive maintenance, installation of guarding/safety featuresMaximize reliability and efficiency of plant production equipment (extrusion/blow molders, downstream equipment) and auxiliary systems/equipment (chillers, compressors, blenders, HVAC, etc.)Direct, supervise, and develop subordinate maintenance personnelDirect installation of new equipment and systemsMaintain and repair blow molding machinery (Uniloy and Bekum experience a plus) Key Accountabilities:Develop/implement/supervise preventive maintenance program for plant production and facilities systemsDirect/oversee repairs, upgrades, and installation of equipment and systemsDetermine root causes of equipment failure and develop processes to minimize downtimeResearch equipment and processes and make recommendations to meet future needsSchedule mold maintenance /repairEnsure appropriate guarding/safety devices are present and operating properly; instruct employees in safe operation and maintenance proceduresManage projects and maintenance costs, including maintenance spending, labor and overtimePrioritize and direct activities and assignments of subordinate personnelDevelop skills of maintenance personnelMaintain compliance with Company policies and procedures regarding conduct, performance, safety/OSHA requirements, and compensation of employeesCoordinate maintenance and installation activities with production scheduling Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities5 plus years’ experience managing maintenance technicians, budgets, and programs/functions in manufacturing environmentKnowledge of Blow Molding (Uniloy and Bekum machinery)Experience with Facility Maintenance (high pressure air compressors 600 psi and chillers)PLC troubleshooting (Auto-bagger, Semi-Auto-bagger, and Auto-Tray Packer)Knowledge of plastics blow/extrusion processes and equipmentAutomationExperience demonstrating functional working knowledge of electrical systems, NEC, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, OSHA, and auxiliary facility equipment and systemsTroubleshooting and analytical skillsAbility to interact positively with subordinates, peers, and superiors to meet operation’s goals and requirementsCompany DescriptionCKS Packaging is a privately owned manufacturer and supplier of rigid plastic packaging with 28 locations in the United States, headquartered in Atlanta.
