Position Summary
The Shift Processor is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining processing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues during assigned shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate processing machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor equipment performance, product flow, and system controls throughout the shift.
- Perform routine inspections, detect irregularities, and take corrective action when needed.
- Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and quality documentation.
- Conduct basic equipment cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with the next shift to ensure smooth handoff and consistent operations.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality control policies.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Assist with product changeovers, calibrations, and setup activities.
- Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize throughput and reduce downtime.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $10.25 - $15.00 per hour
