Actively participate in day-to-day customer service, on-site sales, and general warehouse duties. Handle all aspects of the customer experience, over the phone, in person and in email communication ensuring a high level of satisfaction and technical know-how. Daily activities will be representing all of the company's products and services within the Welding, Gas, and Specialty Gas industry while also helping in the warehouse whenever needed by organizing, moving, and restocking inventory. This position will also assist in pulling, preparing, and staging orders for delivery as well as ensure that orders are fulfilled correctly.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a highly visible and professional ambassador of CK Supply, the Customer Service & Counter Sales position is essential to the business operations.

• Engage with a wide variety of customer requests while thinking on your feet, troubleshooting, resolving conflicts and exceeding expectations for everything the company has to offer
• Organize, clean, and maintain the showroom and retail area of responsibility to ensure a pleasant experience for all customers and guests
• Stage orders for fleet delivery
• Assist in receiving product from vendors as needed
• Put away incoming stock
• Receive deliveries from third parties and signing for goods
• Maintain physical condition of warehouse by adhering to the 5s principles
• Assist in reorganization of product as needed for incoming supplies
• Perform effectively under stress, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude

• Be willing to wear multiple hats and go above and beyond to get the job done to assist the customer including troubleshooting issues over the phone on a regular basis
• Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
• Adhere to the CK Core Values through behavior and words
• Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 5 years of customer service experience in same or similar industry, preferred
• Previous experience in picking, packing, and receiving is a plus
• Experience within the welding and specialty gas environment is a plus
• Experience in quality control, strong math background, analytical or ability to communicate standards and attention to detail is a must
• Ability to learn and use computer software programs fast and accurately
• Ability to stoop, twist, bend, kneel, and lift merchandise/equipment up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete paperwork
• Ability to use a cash register and provide correct change
