PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement and execute on company policy and strategy as it pertains to customer service and branch operations.
- Overseeing daily functions, promoting company policies & complying with guidelines.
- Quarterly check-ins with your team of direct reports.
- Weekly L10's with the assistance from regional branch managers
- Monitoring retail sales and accountability for all branches
- Regular visits and travel to all branch stores in IL, MO, and KS
- Accountable for performance on key scorecard metrics for each branch
- Administrative sales and customer service support for all sales groups including Retail/Counter Sales, Inside Sales, Outside Sales and Tech Center.
- Support CK relationship with outside organizations (MCA, ASA, SMACNA, AWS, etc)
- Serve on the product committee and other committees as needed
- Follow and enforce all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment for employees and visitors
- Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Higher Education Degree
- 5 years management experience in a similar type of role
- Preferred welding equipment and gas knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to handle diverse individuals and situations in a professional manner
- Proficient in operating office equipment, including but not limited to computer, phone, fax machine, etc...
- Proficient in basic computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to move and handle merchandise up to 50lbs.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time as well as ability to stoop, twist, kneel and bend
