Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced On-Site Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and/or commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day job site operations, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality control, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities from pre-construction through project completion
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews
- Manual labor required to keep project progress
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and building codes
- Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Communicate with clients, inspectors, and internal team members
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and material deliveries
- Manual loading / unloading of materials / trailers
- Maintain accurate project documentation (daily logs, reports, schedules)
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies
- Regularly attend scheduled company meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction project management or site supervision
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and trades
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple job sites (preferred)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
- Residential or light commercial construction experience
- Experience with budgeting and cost control
- Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
