Reports To: QA Shift Supervisor
Summary
The Quality Assurance Technician ensures finished product meets company quality and safety standards. This position assists the Quality Assurance Manager in the completion of required routine tasks and testing documentation.
Key Duties and Essential Job Functions

- Perform required finished product testing and ensure completion of documentation and data entry.
- Inspect finished product for food safety hazards, such as foreign materials.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments as required.
- Effectively communicate cross-departmentally.
- Notifies appropriate personnel when non-conformances are noted and assures proper documentation is noted.
- Conduct Food Safety Inspections in the production environment.
- Conduct Daily GMP inspections and follow through with enforcement of GMPs.
- Conducting Weekly and Monthly tasks as assigned
- Ability to assist in raw material inspections and appropriate data entry
- Organize finished product retains
- Other duties with similar skills, work conditions, and responsibilities as assigned.

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to read, speak, and write in English.

- 1 year of experience in a Quality Assurance role preferred, but not required.
- Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)

While performing duties of this job, the employee is in an indoor, non-climate-controlled facility. They are regularly exposed to machinery with moving mechanical parts.
