Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage thoroughly to determine the necessary repairs and restoration steps.
- Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural alignment using hand tools and power tools.
- Utilize auto painting techniques to achieve a flawless finish that matches the vehicle’s original color and style.
- Replace or repair auto glass with precision, ensuring proper fitment and safety standards.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as mechanical adjustments, detailing, and light mechanical repairs to support overall vehicle restoration.
- Use heavy lifting equipment safely to move large parts or damaged vehicle sections during repair processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all repair procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and any additional work needed.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background in auto body repair is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and auto body repair equipment efficiently and safely.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, auto restoration projects, and automotive repair standards.
