Civil Engineering Designer


Role Overview

A Civil Engineering Designer plays a key role in shaping the technical backbone of our projects. Youll create detailed plans and blueprints for site development, transportation infrastructure, and water systems using tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Youll collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and construction partners to ensure that every design is accurate, efficient, and aligned with project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Drafting: Produce detailed design drawings, plans, and blueprints for grading, roadway, drainage, and utility projects.
  • Software Proficiency: Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other industry-standard tools to create precise technical drawings.
  • Site Analysis: Conduct site assessments, analyze survey data, and integrate findings into design solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure designs are feasible, coordinated, and compliant.
  • Documentation: Prepare specifications, technical reports, and supporting project documentation.


Qualifications & Career Development


Education

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field is the most common foundation.


Skills

  • Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Understanding of core civil engineering principles.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
