Job Summary And Qualifications
- Promptly answers all incoming calls and assists in placing out-going calls.
- Responds to code phone, code computer or wall panel alarms which takes priority over any calls except the fire alarm and making sure that appropriate personnel are notified.
- Monitors fire panel alarms, wall alarms, code phone and code computer where applicable, contacting the fire department and other appropriate personnel when needed.
- Pages on web based paging system and switchboard for authorized personnel, physicians and emergency calls.
- Places long distance and Watts Line Calls for various departments and doctors' offices.
- Assists patients by advising how to place local and long distance calls.
- Answers patient information calls whenever necessary.
- Documents vital information to assist supervisor in maintaining current files with the daily PBX operations.
- Overhead page appropriate personnel as needed.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
- High School Graduate / GED
