This is an in-house, overnight position with 26 weeks on and 26 weeks off. Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
- MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.
- Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of Virginia prior to employment.
- Care Team Model of 9 General Anesthesiologists, 4 CV Anesthesiologists and 29 CRNAs covering 20 sites of service.
- Diverse mix of cases including Trauma, Vascular, Thoracic, OB, General, Orthopedics, Urology, GYN, GI and Pediatrics. No cardiac responsibilities as cardiac anesthesiologist is on call from home. CRNA in-house at all time, with a second CRNA on home call.
- Annual surgical volume 18,000 cases. 500 labor epidurals on average.
- Schedule is 7p-7a, Saturday to Friday with the following week off.
- W2, salaried opportunity with excellent compensation.
