In-Home Behavioral Consultant – Autism (Adult Support)
Part-Time | 5 Hours/Week | Long-Term

Compensation: $50–$60/hour (based on experience)

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced In-Home Behavioral Consultant to work hands-on with an adult on the autism spectrum. This role focuses on real-life skills, regulation, and independence in a calm, respectful home environment.
This is not a caregiver, respite, or clinic-style ABA position. It is a hands-on consulting role grounded in practical application and relationship-based support.
Responsibilities
Direct, hands-on work during everyday routines
Modeling strategies in real time
Supporting regulation, transitions, and habit-building
Adjusting approach based on what works week to week
Collaborating with family on observations and progress
Schedule
~5 hours per week
1–2 consistent sessions preferred
Minimum commitment: 3–6 months
Ideal Background
BCBA, RBT, special education, OT, psychology, or similar experience
Experience with autistic adolescents or adults strongly preferred
Comfortable working independently in a home setting
Calm, patient, and dignity-first approach
Values collaboration over compliance-based methods

Not babysitting or respite care
Not clinic-based ABA
Not short-term or fill-in work
