Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Management- Directly monitor assigned projects/subcontractors and superintendent in their daily tasks
- Safety- Ensure jobsite activities are consistent with OSHA Guidelines
- RFI’s- Review/Create/Track
- Submittals- Review/Track/Monitor
- Drawings & Specifications- Maintain & Update
- Front end development- Assisting with bid packages for new projects being put out to bid.
- Scheduling- Maintaining and updating overall project schedule within Smartsheets software.
- Lean construction techniques- Implementing and driving usage of tools including weekly work plan & pull planning
- Vendor development- Assist with engaging existing and new vendor bases as needed.
- Contract buyout- Lead contract buyout process (qualify bids, issue PO’s and contracts)
- Owner & subcontract change orders- Qualify and write change orders
- Pay app processing- Review subcontractor and vendor progress payments for accuracy.
- Travel- Jobsite visits depending on project needs
- Project closeout- Coordinate process with local and state inspections, operator training and assembling O&M manuals.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of construction project management experience.
- Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of construction safety and represents strong safety values.
- Must be able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word; as well as a high level of comfort with IPad’s and numerous industry specific online, cloud-based programs. A strong command of technology is required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be an effective communicator.
- Utilize strong organizational and time management skills.
