Summary: The Packaging Manager is responsible for safely and efficiently managing wet and dry packaging operations and personnel.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to interpret bar graphs. Ability to read and interpret scales.

- Safety / Environmental
- Responsible for managing safety and environmental compliance to policies. Takes necessary measures to resolve any issues and implements corrective actions to reduce risk of recurrence. Timely communicates issues, incidents, corrective actions to appropriate levels of the organization.
- Reporting
- Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of packaging sheets.
- Time card review.
- Yield tracking.
- Packaging Efficiency Tracking.
- Other Duties / Responsibilities
- Plans, posts, and manages daily work assignments for packaging employees.
- Works with Production Scheduler/ Manufacturing Manager to determine manpower requirements in relation to daily production requirements.
- Ensuring packaging materials are available for efficient operations.
- Works with other managers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to create and maintain a safe work environment.
- Ensuring accurate end of run counts.
- Responsible for proper maintenance and operation of packaging equipment.
- Ensuring Housekeeping expectations are kept
- Ensuring quality packaging requirements are met.
- Ensuring packaging equipment cleanouts meet customer and FIFRA requirements.
- Responsible for incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
