Bartender

Job Description

Cj’s Upper Deck is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our team. We are looking for someone who can provide our customers with outstanding guest experience. Someone who has full knowledge of all kinds of wine, beer, and liquor. You will be responsible for preparing drink orders for guests, helping to create new and innovative drinks, paying attention to the detail and presentation of each order, and providing a pleasant experience for all customers.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Resolves guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant guests
• Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences and offer recommendations
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Recognizes repeat customers, and anticipates their needs to provide an excellent guest experience
  
  

Requirements:

• Over 21 years of age
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Training certificate (TIPS-Alcohol Awareness)
• Able to work weekends
• Reliable, Committed and Energetic
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
  
  

We are a 2-story Restaurant/Bar with daily and nightly drink/food specials, kitchen open late. Entertainment includes Karaoke, DJ Dancing. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

• Pay: $450.00 - $1,040.00 per week
• Expected hours: 25 per week
