About the Role

As an OLIVE YOUNG Advisor, you are the go-to expert on the floor, inspiring customers on their healthy beauty journey with your product knowledge and positive energy. You are the OLIVE YOUNG brand ambassador, welcoming our customers to experience OLIVE YOUNG in the U.S. retail market for the very first time. Advisors are always up to date on the products we sell and stay on top of the latest beauty and wellness trends to share with our customers. Our Advisors bring deep experience to our customers, lifelong fans.


You will play a key role in customer service, ensuring a seamless store experience for all who shop OLIVE YOUNG. You are proactive in inventory management, have a keen eye on cleanliness and organization, and understand the aesthetic to maintain a shopping environment that delights and excites our customers.


What You’ll Do

The following duties are considered essential functions of the role, including but not limited to the responsibilities outlined below.

  • Sales & Customer Service: Deliver the OLIVE YOUNG experience through exceptional service to each customer and inspire confidence and promote well-being by serving as a trusted advisor for the team and customers by offering expert-level consultations through in-depth product knowledge tailored to each customer’s needs, preferences, and goals.
  • Specialized Services: Be the expert for OLIVE YOUNG’s exclusive skin and scalp scanning services, assisting customers through diagnostic devices and recommending suitable products based on the results.
  • Sales Floor Performance: Work in a fast-paced environment, proactively assist multiple customers at the same time, drive sales, and achieve customer satisfaction goals. Enthusiastically share new launches, promotions, and loyalty programs to all our customers. Process purchases, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Customer Loyalty: Build customer loyalty and satisfaction by introducing customers to OLIVE YOUNG’s membership program, proactively introduce customers to new launches, promotions, and loyalty benefits.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, welcoming, premium store environment that reflects the OLIVE YOUNG brand. Take pride in keeping the store environment looking its best.
  • Inventory Management: Support inventory management procedures, shipment handling, restocking, merchandising updates, and tester management with precision and attention to detail. Check product expiration dates and packaging condition regularly to guarantee the highest product quality for customers.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention procedures to protect the company’s assets.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a retail environment (preferably beauty or wellness) or customer-facing roles.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually, and as a team.
  • Advanced knowledge of beauty, skincare, or wellness products and trends.
  • Exceptional communication and consultation skills, with the ability to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales and customer experience goals.
  • Comfortable using technology (e.g., POS systems, tablets) to support customer service and sales.
  • Preferred: Experience in performing makeup applications, skincare consultations, or product demonstrations.
  • Preferred: Bilingual in Korean and/or Spanish


Physical & Environmental Requirements

  • Mobility: Continuous standing, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
  • Lifting: Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling items ranging from 10 to over 50 pounds (e.g., boxes, inventory, etc.).
  • Dexterity: Manual dexterity for organizing shelves or handling small items.
  • Environmental: Exposure to fragrance, cosmetic ingredients, and, in some cases, fast-paced and high-volume retail environments.
  • Vision: Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, along with depth perception, are necessary.
