AVP FedEx Delivery Driver

Delivery Drivers are paid $1.25 per stop and 50.00 per day for gas.

We are searching for flex drivers for FedEx’s Alternative Vehicle Program (AVP) to join our team. Our team maintains safety as a priority, has a service-oriented attitude, is reliable and organized, and possesses effective time management skills while complying with safety rules and policies.

• Work at your own pace, as long as you complete your route on schedule.
• No limit on packages available for delivery
• No delivery photo required upon delivery.

Job Requirements

• You will be using your own vehicle & smart phone for delivery.
• Deliveries will be made on company-owned scanners.
• Driver is responsible for paying for their own fuel and data used on their phone for GPS and Routing.
• Must own an insured vehicle Vehicles can be no older than 14 years of age
• Vehicles must be Insured with a Current Registration
• Vehicle must be no larger than a full size pickup truck Responsibilities Deliver a wide variety of packages to customers locations in a timely manner
• Complete logs and submit reports

Delivery Driver Requirements:

• Approved vehicles include sedans, station wagons, SUVs, minivans and pick-up trucks (with a covered and secure bed) that are no older than 14 years and have no significant cosmetic damage.
• Also, you must show proof of insurance and vehicle registration.
• Drivers must have no more than 2 citations or traffic violations on their motor vehicle record in the past 3 years.
• Prior driving experience is preferred.
• No commercial driving experience is required.
• Owner must verify and maintain insurance on the vehicle.
• Training will be provided.

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• Have a valid Drivers License
• Have proof of authorization to work in the US Have a CLEAN MVR (motor vehicle record will be checked)
• Pass a criminal background check
• Be in good physical condition and able to handle large and/or heavy packages up to 50 lbs.
• This is a very physically demanding job & could involve climbing stairs
• Must fluently speak, read and understand English
• Capable of operating a scanning device and phone Have a working smart phone & willing to use it on the job for GPS & communication.
• Have reliable transportation and be fully insured
