Now Hiring: Gas Pipeline Construction Foreman

Location: Travel Required | Job Type: Full-Time

C.J. Hughes Construction Co., Inc. is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Gas Pipeline Construction Foreman to lead and work alongside pipeline construction crews. This role requires someone who is dependable, experienced, and capable of working in all aspects of pipeline construction, including physically demanding labor in a variety of weather conditions and rugged terrains. This is outdoor pipeline work that requires strength, endurance, and leadership.

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise crews of 3–8 members on pipeline construction projects
• Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, graders, compactors, telehandlers, and more
• Perform physical labor while managing productivity, safety, and efficiency
• Read and interpret grades, blueprints, and job specifications
• Ensure all certifications, training, and operator qualifications are current and maintained
• Promote and enforce safety protocols across the job site
• Travel overnight and work overtime as required
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years documented experience in gas pipeline construction (Foreman or Operator roles)
• Proven leadership in similar construction settings
• Fusing experience preferred
• Knowledge of underground utilities and locator markings
• Ability to safely operate equipment near crew members and underground infrastructure
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR and dependable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment screenings, including drug test and I-9 verification
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years or older
