Position Overview:
CJ ENM America is currently seeking an intern to join the convention department with a strong desire to learn about K-content and conventions, and the opportunity to participate in the operational process. This is a paid part time internship that is located in the LA office.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project leader with all events related tasks including but not limited to - Show ticketing, operation, venue communication.
- Assist the Project leader with communicating with various partners including internal and external.
- Support doing excel reports and invoicing for further event settlement.
- Support additional projects as necessary
Experience & Skills:
- Must be enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within the past six (6) months.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Fluency in Korean (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Google, Dropbox, Adobe, etc.). Graphic Design and Video Editing skills highly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge, interest and passion in K-pop and Korean entertainment highly preferred
- Entertainment (concert/convention/music/film) marketing experience highly preferred
- Ability to work with tight deadlines
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize daily agendas
- Ability to prioritize and delegate in high stress, high volume situations
- Self-starter and highly motivated
