SCREENX / 4DX Installation Supervisor

ABOUT THE ROLE

The SCREENX and 4DX Installation Supervisor will oversee the installation of CJ 4DPLEX’s premium format cinema systems and provide field service on existing and new SCREENX and 4DX systems.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Supervise the installation of SCREENX and 4DX systems in new and existing cinema auditoriums, including the installation of video projectors, motion chair assemblies and audio-visual equipment racks.

· Verify auditoriums meet CJ 4DPLEX facility requirements as defined in the CJ 4DPLEX design drawings.

· Perform network connections between SCREENX and 4DX systems and exhibitor’s cinema systems.

· Calibrate and commission the SCREENX and 4DX systems.

· Perform system Test & Adjust and Operator Training.

· Receive exhibitor buyoff.

· Support SCREENX and 4DX theater grand openings.

· Provide field service on SCREENX and 4DX systems, evaluating, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification in electronics, engineering or a related field preferred.

· Three years of technical and installation experience, preferably in the cinema or audio-visual industry.

· Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of construction practices.

· Strong understanding of networked audiovisual systems.

· Strong mechanical aptitude.

· Excellent troubleshooting skills.

· Self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Must be comfortable working from scaffolding and lifts.

· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

· Available to travel 50%
