ABOUT THE ROLE
CJ 4DPLEX America is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Digital Marketing to lead strategic marketing campaigns for our innovative cinema technology formats, SCREENX and 4DX. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing initiatives with both exhibitor and studio partners, including social and paid media strategy, exhibitor loyalty programs, events, and in-theater activations.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital and brand marketing campaign strategies for SCREENX and 4DX across various theatrical releases.
- Manage budgets for exhibitor promotions, loyalty programs, events, influencers, and in-theater marketing.
- Serve as Sr. lead with exhibitor partners, building relationships that drive both brand visibility and box office growth.
- Partner with studio marketing teams to support theatrical campaigns with SCREENX and 4DX integrations.
- Plan and execute screening programs with influencers and publicity partners to garner positive word-of-mouth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal creative, social, and PR teams to deliver innovative marketing activations.
- Oversee exhibitor-facing marketing across websites, apps, social, and mobile platforms.
- Analyze exhibitor research and box-office data to develop actionable strategies.
- Lead marketing for new SCREENX and 4DX theater openings, working with exhibitors, internal teams, and vendors.
- Coordinate with international teams to share best practices and align on global marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive experience in digital marketing, preferably within the entertainment or theatrical industry, with a strong track record of leading successful campaigns
- Proven experience leading and mentoring a team
- Strong knowledge of paid digital media and organic social marketing.
- Experience with creative production (audio/visual and print).
- Experience with experiential marketing including events, screenings and out-of-home executions (OOH)
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of box office reporting / trends and film industry data.
- Ability to work closely and effectively with the Headquarters Marketing team, ensuring alignment on global initiatives and sharing best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and marketing partnerships.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Passion for movies, entertainment, and new technology.
