AV Systems Engineer

CJ 4DPLEX America is seeking a visionary AV Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, and global deployment of advanced audiovisual, control, and ride systems for our premium cinema formats, including 4DX and SCREENX.

This role combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership, driving innovation in immersive cinema technologies and discovering new system solutions that elevate the audience’s experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with a passion for emerging AV technologies, capable of owning complex projects from concept through execution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in the areas of video projection, video distribution, show control and network infrastructure.
• Provide expert-level direction and insights on hardware, software and networking solutions.
• Develop, maintain and update engineering documents including Facility Impact, Bills of Material, Rack Elevations, Single Lines, Network Topology.
• Develop, maintain and update Operations & Maintenance manuals.
• Create testing, validation and certification plans.
• Setup, test and configure systems during Factory Acceptance Testing.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new technology options that enhance system performance and scalability.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on video, control and ride systems, industry standards and technical specifications, internally and in discussions with clients.
• Support field deployment teams and provide technical leadership for issue resolution and system optimization
• Mentor junior employees and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 ~ 8 years of experience in AV systems design, integration, and support.
• AVIXA CTS or CTS-D certification preferred
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction drawings and define facility interfaces.
• Strong understanding of network topology and protocols
• Excellent leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and documentation.
• Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
• Experience working with international teams and navigating cross-cultural communication.
• Flexibility to collaborate across global time zones.
